dance-for-madiba-2016_03What are you doing this Mandela Day?

Here at ND HQ things have been in full swing as we’ve kicked off our DanceForMadiba campaign once again and are gearing up to create an even more epic jive than last year!

If you haven’t planned your 67minute pledge yet, here’s your opportunity to get involved from the comfort of your home or your office, with your friends, family and colleagues. This is your chance to be part of the World’s Greatest Madiba Jive ever done!

By simply recording and uploading your unique dance video online this Mandela Day, you will be helping us to celebrate the life of the great Tata Madiba, to unify people of the world through dance AND to raise money to make a difference in South Africa.

The most creative or inspiring jivers will be rewarded with a sum of R5000, courtesy of Pam Golding. R2500 of which will go to a charity of your choice and the other R2500 to your back pocket. Runner up jivers will be awarded a Get Smarter short course for themselves as well as for someone (from a disadvantaged background) who they feel deserves it most.

Go to www.MadibaJive.com to get involved. It’s as easy as one, two, three.Screen Shot 2016-06-17 at 12.17.41 PM

If you need some inspiration have a look at our 2016 teaser video here.

You can also help us #ShareTheJoy by sharing our DanceForMadiba mission with friends and family around the world! We’re fully committed to making Mandela Day a global celebration. Are you?

And if you’re as addicted to jiving as we are and looking for a way to give back on the 18th of July (Mandela Day itself), why not join us at Secret Sunset: Dance For Madiba Edition where we’ll be jiving with the children from Rainbow Youth Academy and celebrating the life of Tata Madiba. Tickets are R67, with the option of donating an additional R100 to buy an Education Kit for a child in need.

We look forward to celebrating with you and hope to see you in our dance gallery soon friends <3
